Goat Kids
Thank you for your interest in our herd! We are a small farm that takes great pride in our goats. We test our herd yearly for CAE, and our kids are bottle-fed and raised on a CAE prevention program.
If you would like to add a Simply Sweet Farm kid to your herd, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your kid, with full payment due at pickup. Please see our breeding chart below for specific details on reservations for each doe, as well as our purchase policy.

Linguine is a flashy boy out of our doe Hazel and by My-Enchanted-Acres In The Zone. Hazel is a super strong milker with capacity for days. Last year she finished reserve champion at the Dutchess County Fair and third place at Big E in a large class. Enzo is a strong buck who stamps his kids and has been adding great general appearance and Nubian character. We retained a doe, Bubbles, from this cross last year and she is maturing very nicely. Linguine is available as a pet to a loving home.

Bruce is a sweet boy who is always up for cuddles or food! So far everyone who has met him has fallen in love. He is out of our first freshening doe, Ivy. Ivy showed very well as a dry yearling bringing home multiple reserve champion ribbons, we are excited to see how she will do now that she is in milk. Ivy has some very impressive lines and seems to have crossed nicely with My-Enchanted-Acres In The Zone. Enzo has added ear length and thickness of bone, making Bruce a strong kid with good breed character. Bruce is available as a pet to a loving home.

Sven loves to follow people around and lets you know when he wants attention! He has beautiful cream and black points on his legs and face, making him look like a reindeer. Sven is out of our doe Ariel and by War Cry’s Centerfolds Casanova. Ariel is coming into milk very nicely and seems to have a lot of potential, we are excited to see how she does at shows this summer. Casanova is a young buck, his first crop of kids being born this spring. However, his pedigree speaks for itself and his dam is a show stopper! Sven is available as a pet to a loving home.

Sebastian is a sweet boy with the kindest face. He loves to jump and play with his brother, Sven, and his other friends. Sebastian is out of our doe Ariel and by War Cry’s Centerfolds Casanova. Ariel is coming into milk very nicely and seems to have a lot of potential, we are excited to see how she does at shows this summer. Casanova is a young buck, his first crop of kids being born this spring. However, his pedigree speaks for itself and his dam is a show stopper! Sebastian is a beautiful reddish brown and has a white patch on the underside of his barrel. He is available as a pet to a loving home.
Purchase Policy
Reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis, based on when we receive deposits on the kid. Please note that we cannot guarantee that the reserved kid will be available. We reserve the right to keep any animal for our herd, regardless of whether a kid has been pre-reserved, or not.
If the reserved animal is not available, the buyer will be offered another available kid or have their deposit refunded. If the buyer backs out of the purchase, their deposit will not be returned.
Quoted prices are for reserved animals, and prices are subject to change for those purchased after the animals are born. Kids must be picked up by 12 weeks of age, and they will be disbudded and tattooed before leaving. Kids will not be released from the farm until they have been paid for in full.
All animals will be sold with ADGA registration papers. We reserve the right to purchase 20 straws of semen from any buck sold by us at the cost of collection.
Finally, we care deeply about our goats, and ask that if you ever decide to sell your Simply Sweet Farm kid, you reach out to us first and give us the option of buying the animal back.
